Update on our Rotary Youth Exchange Project

Youths at high school level. OIRC have cooperated with Oslo Rotary Club and Solveig Kvarsvik is the lucky student and she has reported back that she enjoys herself and everything is going well. On the counterpart we have Clover McKee from Canada staying with us in Oslo this Rotary Year. The experience has been very positive for OIRC and will be continued in 2023-2024 in cooperation with Oslo Rotary Club.
Clover will leave in July and her parents will be travelling to Oslo to visit her before her departure.
We will say farewell to Clover at our end of year picnic in Frogner park on the 21st June
For 2023 – 2024, a Norwegian candiate with Tunisian origins is ready for an exchange year if the District/RYLE team can find host families (her preference is Australia – they start their RYE in January each year unlike us who start in August).
