The student survey shows that bullying has increased from 7.9% to 9.9%, involving both peer bullying and an increase in bullying from adults at school. “Metalheads Against Bullying” is a user and family organization that highlights the issue of bullying in society. The organization consists of volunteers with personal experience of bullying and the long-term consequences it has in adulthood. These volunteers dedicate their free time to openly sharing what bullying has done to them and how it continues to affect them years after the bullying has ended. They offer presentations on what bullying is and what it has led to for the speakers. These individuals speak openly, honestly, and brutally about their own experiences.
Leif, in particular, is willing to discuss what bullying is, the consequences of bullying, and how to stop it. He has extensive and valuable experience in the fight against bullying.
