Club motto: Enabling young people to make a differance

OIRC will be the organizer together with the District, more information will come.

2023 – 2024: A Norwegian candidate with Tunisian origins is ready for an exchange year if the District/RYE team can find host families (her preference is Australia). This time OIRC is the signing entity as support club for the Norwegian candidate.

Fuka Iwase from Japan who studied at the Peace Centre was the first student from this program to be hosted by OIRC. She is now back in Japan and doing well

Lindsey Scott is our current Sholarship student, she is from Canada and currently studying BioScience at Oslo University. She will stay till summer 2024 and has been a great asset to our club already

This program will be supported by OIRC as a hosting club also in the future. Siri is part of the Global Grant Scholarship Program Committee together with Per O. Aukner and Svein Eystein Lindberg. Lindsey’s Rotary supporting club from Canada is the Rotary Club of Calgary Olympic with Global Grant Scholarship Committee Chair Hendrik Kraay
