Oslo International Rotary Club and Oslo Rotary Club will continue to work together for hosting Youth Exchange students during the 2024 – 2025 Rotary Year.
After our outbound student, Ingrid Haugland, left for one year in France at the beginning of summer, we are preparing to host Ruby Sitton from District 9560 in Australia. Ruby comes from a family with a tradition for Youth Exchange and her favorite subjects are drama and legal. One of her goals is to learn a foreign language.
She will arrive in Oslo in January 2025, and Oslo International Rotary Club, together with Oslo Rotary Club, will function as co-hosting Clubs.
We are now in the process of selecting host families for our inbound student, so please let us know if you would like to be a host family or if you have any useful contacts: oircpresident[at]gmail.com.
Meanwhile, stay tuned, we will soon return with news from Fida Ben Houchet, our outbound student for the previous Rotary year, who has lived for one year in Australia, under the hosting of The Rotary Club of Matilda Bay.
