ROTARY GLOBAL GRANT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Update on our support to the Rotary Global Grant Scholarship program

  • Fuka Iwase from Japan who studied at the Peace Centre was the first student from this program to be hosted by OIRC. She is now back in Japan and doing well
  • Lindsey Scott (see picture on left) is our current Scholarship student, she is from Canada and currently studying BioScience at Oslo University. She will stay until the summer of 2024 and has been a great asset to our club already
  • This program will be supported by OIRC as a hosting club also in the future. Siri is part of the Global Grant Scholarship Program Committee together with Per O. Aukner and Svein Eystein Lindberg. Lindsey’s Rotary supporting club from Canada is the Rotary Club of Calgary Olympic with Global Grant Scholarship Committee Chair Hendrik Kraay
